Bryta is an exercise and brain training program designed by academic geriatrician, Professor Kwang Lim, and physiotherapist, Cindy Phan. The program is available to anyone over 60 years of age who would like to exercise their brain and body at the same time.
Having a healthy brain is especially important as we reach middle age, and our brain begins to change. Research has shown that physical exercise and brain training done at the same time is effective for both cognitive and physical health in adults over 60.
Older Adults with Cognitive Decline
Patients over 60 with early signs of cognitive decline or memory issues can benefit from the physical and cognitive stimulation of the Bryta program.
Stroke or Brain Injury Recovery
Individuals recovering from strokes or brain injuries often need cognitive and physical rehabilitation. The Bryta program can aid in improving brain function and physical fitness.
Patients with Parkinson’s Disease
Those with motor and cognitive symptoms from Parkinson’s may benefit from a program that combines physical and cognitive therapy to enhance both areas.
Elderly Maintaining Health
Elderly patients, even without specific conditions, seeking to maintain cognitive health and improve physical stamina could find the Bryta program useful.
