Mental Health Referrals

For assistance with managing your patients’ mental health needs, please follow our simple five-step admissions process outlined below.

1. Does your patient need to access mental health services (inpatient or outpatient services)
2. Does your patient have either Private Health Insurance, DVA, Work Cover, TAC coverage or is it self-funded?
3. Email brw.referrals@aurorahealth.com.au, fax (03) 9012 7848 or fill out an online referral form
4. Contact the Hospital Admissions team on 03 9385 1189 if you require any assistance.
5. Our Admissions Team will discuss the referral with an admitting psychiatrist to confirm acceptance, and confirm patient's admission within 1 business day.
