Equifax eCredentialing

Aurora Healthcare utilises Equifax eCredential for clinical credentialing. This solution provides health practitioners with the ability to create and maintain their own clinical profile via a secure online interface. There is only a requirement to complete your profile once and then it can be updated as required. Equifax also provides you with the ability to share your profile.

Following discussions you will be provided with an application to credential. To commence the credentialing process, please follow these steps:

  • You will be sent an email inviting you to complete and submit your credentialing profile to the hospital.
  • Your application will be reviewed by the hospital’s Clinical Credentialing and Privileges Committee.

Credentialing process

Upon receipt of your Equifax application the hospital’s Clinical Credentialing and Privileges Committee will, validate your credentials and once this process has satisfied the requirements under our by-laws, we offer you a letter to confirm visiting rights to the hospital.

Once credentialed, we will assist with the submission of a letters of support and facilitate the application process to Medicare to gain a provider number for you for the site.
