Professional background
Dr. Tu is a consultant neurologist specialising in general neurology and stroke medicine. He completed his neurology training at various hospitals, followed by further training in stroke medicine.
He is an honorary research fellow at the Melbourne Brain Centre and has numerous publications in national and international peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Tu actively participates in clinical stroke research.
As a foundation member of the Victorian Department of Health Stroke Telemedicine program, he provides guidance for acute stroke management to many Victorian emergency departments without local neurology support.
