Professional background
Dr Kathryn Field is a medical oncologist from Australia. She completed her Masters of Public Health at Harvard University in 2013 as a Fulbright scholar and Frank Knox Memorial Fellow. Dr Field has extensive experience in phase II and III clinical trials, serving as a hospital investigator responsible for the recruitment and follow-up of trial participants. She is also the principal investigator of a currently-running randomised phase II clinical trial for patients with brain tumours in Australia, having been involved with the trial from conception through to near-completion. Additionally, Dr Field is engaged in other forms of clinical cancer research, including database analysis of a large prospective cohort study in bowel cancer.
