Professional background
Dr Samir Ibrahim brings extensive experience from diverse countries and various clinical settings to Brunswick Private Hospital. He has a broad interest in adult psychiatry and psychopharmacology, with a notable background in psychogeriatrics. Dr Ibrahim has a particular passion for rTMS (Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) and its application in different psychiatric disorders. At Brunswick Private, he is actively involved in the rTMS program, contributing his expertise to enhance patient outcomes.
In recognition of his expertise and contributions to the field, Dr Ibrahim was elected as the Secretary and subsequently Co-Chair of the Family Section of the World Psychiatric Association, a position he has held since 2014.
