Dr Sunil Datta

Dr Sunil Datta is a highly experienced psychiatrist with 30 years in the field. He has extensive experience in both public and private psychiatry, with a research focus on social anxiety and the side-effects of psychotropic medications.

Dr Datta is an active member of the psychotherapy committee of the Royal College and the domestic violence committee. He supervises both general practice and psychiatry trainees. His clinical interests include anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and addictive disorders.

Passionate about patient care, Dr Datta works closely with patients to help them improve, regardless of the severity of their illness. He currently runs the general practice liaison program in the western suburbs, addressing the needs of patients and general practitioners in the area.
