Professional background

Surjit is a Specialist Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon based in central Melbourne with dual fellowship qualifications in Orthopaedic Surgery from Australia and England. Surjit undertook Orthopaedic training on the Guy’s and St Thomas’ Orthopaedic training programme in London gaining Fellowship to the Royal College of Surgeons in 2017.

Whilst on fellowship in Australia, Surjit met his wife Olivia and proceeded to undertake specialist recognition in Australia and is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and Australian Orthopaedic Association.

Surjit completed subspecialty fellowship training in Melbourne and Baltimore (USA). These fellowships were in complex lower limb arthroplasty, pelvic and acetabular trauma and trauma surgery.
