Professional background
Mr Tiew Han, MBBS, FRACS, is a highly trained neurosurgeon with extensive experience in brain, spinal, and nerve-related surgeries. He specialises in minimally invasive procedures, complex spinal conditions, brain and spinal tumour excisions, aneurysm surgeries, and peripheral nerve surgeries. Mr Han is known for his expertise in cranial neurovascular (AVM) surgery and complex spinal reconstructions.
Mr Han studied medicine at the University of Adelaide, graduating in 1991. He completed his neurosurgical training at several prestigious hospitals in Adelaide and Melbourne, including further postgraduate training in Edinburgh. He is actively involved in training junior surgical residents and registrars and is the supervisor of training for spinal surgery in the post fellowship education and training (PFET) program.
Dedicated to providing exceptional care, Mr Han continually updates his skills with new techniques in neurosurgery, particularly in complex spinal surgery and artificial disc procedures.
