Professional background

Dr. Wei-Han Tay is an Australian-trained Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in foot and ankle conditions and orthopaedic trauma. He completed his medical degree at the University of New South Wales in 2005 and began his surgical training in 2007. Dr. Tay also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Surgical Anatomy and a Master of Surgery from the University of Melbourne.

He completed his Advanced Surgical Training in Orthopaedic Surgery in New South Wales and became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) and the Australian Orthopaedic Association (AOA) in 2016. He further specialised with AOA-accredited fellowships in foot and ankle surgery and shoulder surgery.

Dr. Tay has public appointments performing emergency and elective orthopaedic surgery and is active in training and supervising orthopaedic surgical interns and residents. He adopts an individualised, evidence-based approach to patient care, using modern surgical techniques and implants.
