A highly effective speech treatment for individuals with Parkinson's Disease and other neurological conditions.
The LSVT program, like the PD Warrior™ program, is a unique evidence-based therapy improving voice and speech of individuals of those diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease.
We are one of only a handful of facilities in the Melbourne-metro and surrounding areas which provide this specialised program.
Program content
- 16 X 1 hour individual sessions delivered by a qualified Speech Pathologist
- 4 days a week, over 4 weeks
- Daily home practice exercises
What you will experience
The program actively treats the underlying physical pathology associated with the disordered voice commonly found with the disease.
Treatment objectives
Objective 1
Improve speaking clarity, making speech clearer and easier to understand.
Objective 2
Help strengthen the vocal cords, increase vocal volume, and improve voice projection.
Objective 3
Improving speech and communication skills through therapy can boost confidence and encourage individuals to engage more in social activities.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does it cost?
Private health fund, DVA, WorkCover and TAC referrals are accepted. If you have an excess or co-payment with your health insurance, you will be required to pay this at the time of admission. Self-funded patients will be required to pay at the time of admission.
