Visiting Hours

Our hospital visitor policy aims to reflect the latest Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) recommendations. Thank you for your understanding as we continue to balance the safety of all patients, staff, and doctors.

Brunswick Private Hospital has recently reviewed and extended it's hospital visiting hours.

  • Daily:11:00am to 7:00pm

Visitor capacity

Our hospital allows two (2) visitors per patient at any one time (plus up to two accompanied minors).

Visitor requirements

We have masks available for ALL visitors at the main entrance and our preference is that visitors are asked to wear these at all times when in patient rooms.

Entry to the hospital is NOT permitted for any visitors if the following apply:

  • You have symptoms of fever (37.5 degrees or more), cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, loss of smell or taste, runny nose, diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting or fatigue
  • You have been diagnosed with COVID-19 or are isolating
  • You have had contact with a person with COVID-19 in the last 7 days
  • You are awaiting the results of a COVID-19 test

Zero Tolerance

At Brunswick Private Hospital we are committed to providing high-quality health care services. We value the safety and well-being of our team, patients and visitors, and we recognise that incidents of aggressive or abusive behaviour can compromise the quality of care we provide.

Our Zero Tolerance Policy ensures all our staff are treated with courtesy and respect. Please be aware that any real or threatened abuse towards our staff or others in the hospital will not be tolerated.’
