An opportunity exists for a dynamic individual to support the multidisciplinary team as a Grade 1 or 2 Occupational Therapist on a full time basis until the end of January 2025 with possible opportunity of a permanent role after this time . The clinical areas the position may be required to work across include oncology rehabilitation, orthopaedic, multi-trauma, pain management, neurological, reconditioning. The position is available to commence immediately.

Occupational Therapists work closely with other medical, nursing, operational and allied health professionals; and with other health service providers from government and non-government organisations. The position is expected to respond to the needs of their identified target populations and provide Occupational Therapy services to the identified client caseload on a prioritised basis. You will also be responsible for leading the Occupational Therapy team, provide supervision to staff and keep up evidence based practice within the team. We are seeking someone with experience in multi-trauma and interest in Amputee Rehabilitation.
